School and Year Councils:  St John’s School Council and Year Councils meet every half term to discuss key issues which have come from Year Council Meetings to ensure that all our students have a voice.   One council member has been trained to run council meetings by 20:20 Learning.  Miss Mason (Assistant Headteacher) and 2 Governors Jan Hall and Alison Dolan also attend to ensure that any matters raised are passed on to the Senior Leadership team and Governors.

Student Executives:  At St John's a team of Year 11 students support the staff and school, they work alongside staff during breaktime and lunchtime duties.  Student Executives support younger students and help them integrate fully into life at St John's.

Student Listeners:  During lunchtimes a team of Student Active Listeners run the Year 7 Chill-Out/Listening Room; this provides additional support for Year 7 students.
