Valuable Personal Items
Items such as Pagers, Electronic Games, iPods and Walkmans etc, are NOT allowed in school.  They will be confiscated and returned to parents if found in School.  The School carries no insurance to cover lost or damaged property nor can the school accept any liability for such property.

Money
Money in significant amounts must be handed into the school office or to the Form Tutor on arrival to School and a receipt will be issued.

Jewellery
With the exception of a wrist watch and small studs for pierced ears jewellery is not allowed.  Piercing of any other description is not allowed.

Make-Up
Any make-up should be worn discreet.  Nail varnish is not allowed in School.

Mobile Phones
We are aware that mobile phones have become an essential item for many students.   If a mobile phone is brought into school, it is entirely the responsibility of the student; St John's can take no responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage involving a mobile phone.

All mobile phones must be switched off during the school day and must not be used at any time.  They are to be kept safely and out of sight of any member of staff or other students.
