Welcome to St. John’s Website

I am delighted to welcome you to our website. We take a great deal of pride in our school and our students, who live in Epping and its surrounding villages.

As an inclusive 11-16 school we are totally committed to serving the needs of all our children.

St John’s has been judged as “a good school” by OFSTED, both in 2006 and 2009 and we believe we are well on our way to becoming an 'Outstanding School' at our next inspection. GCSE examination results have improved significantly in recent years.

Our school community is strong and our students feel happy and safe in a caring environment, which has been further enhanced with the introduction of mixed-age Vertical Tutoring, enabling every child to have dedicated, personalised support from staff and fellow students.

We are proud of our Christian foundation and promote Christian values to our students. As a Specialist Engineering College we provide our students with a wide range of opportunities to develop skills and aspirations which will be of great value to them in their adult lives.

I am delighted to report that the building of our brand new school on our current site is finally underway and should be completed by September 2013. It will provide an outstanding environment for St. Johns' students to enable them to be the best they can be and to meet the challenges of the 21st Century. There has never been a better time to join St. John's!

Please contact my PA, Mrs Sally Kingham, on 01992 573028 ext 202, if you would like to arrange a visit.
