Outstanding achievement in 2011 at GCSE

Once again, St. John's School is celebrating an outstanding set of GCSE results. As a school we are extremely proud of this year's GCSE achievements of our Year 11 students with all targets being met for the second year running.

Our students have set a new landmark in recording the school's best ever results with an outstanding 38% of students achieving an A*/A grade and 93% of students achieving at least one C grade or above. This is significantly higher than the national average. In the last two years there has been an increase of 21% in the number of students achieving A* to C grades (including English and Maths) and an increase of 22% of students achieving A* to C grades.
